The college is affiliated with Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, and has NAAC accreditation with a B++ grade in the 4th Cycle with a 2.80 CGPA. The college offers three undergraduate courses, namely B.Com, BBA, BCA, and two postgraduate courses, namely MCom and MBA, which AICTE approves.
The UGC granted it Autonomous Status in 2007 for the UG Programme and in 2008 for the PG Programme. Many value-added courses are also offered.
The college is located in BLDE Association’s new campus on Solapur Road and has excellent infrastructure. Of the 24 classrooms, 23 have ICT facilities. The college has a student strength of around 1,400 and a strong faculty team, which includes five PhD holders and M Phil degree holders. The faculty has also cleared NET and SET/SLET Examinations. The faculty has published numerous research articles in reputable journals, each with an ISSN and ISBN. They have also presented their articles at national and international seminars, conferences, and symposiums. The institute also has a Research Centre under the management of its Parent University.
